Control valves are suited to regulate fluids, gaseous mediums and steam. The decision which valve should be used depends on the operating data and application of the control valve. The valves differ through: type, nominal bore, nominal pressure and the material of body and gaskets and the shape of flanges. For different control purposes, several different types of plugs and inner designs are also used.
